Actually, Need to ask general consensus on this. Guess everyone' main aim is to dance the night away. Judging by the number, shld be Upper Club or Nic's place so we have more dance room. So, We are still thinking more of Nic's place at Windy Heights (Kembagan) for the party because that place is def much bigger to dance than Upper Club.

So, here's my promotion cue for Nick's place and tell us what you think.
(If you still prefer more central location like Upper Club, Union, than we will go by general poll but prob no food or drinks guaranteed as it depends on the club. This - we need everyone's die die confirmation to work with the venues)
So Nic's Place (Function rm at Windy Hts)
1) We had 2 parties there before catering to arun 30-40 pple and it is easier because we get to arrange our own stuff with just prob token collection of $10. Much cheaper than Upper Club or Union
2) With $10, Unlimited drinks and snacks and most probably dinner (esp when most of us are too lazy or tried to go out eat) altho Alcohols depend on kind sponsers
3) No limit to ending time. The last party started 2pm ended 10pm plus. If you got something on in afternoon, can come later at night. Altho we DESPERATELY*dopey eyes* hoped everyone on the list can come but no pressure.
4) Location: Windy Hts, Function Rm. 5 - 10 min drive from Kembagan MRT...if still dunno how to go..great chance for guys to offer a ride to the girls. can drive as far as you like..just rem to end at Windy Hts.
5) The floor is waxed marble tiling so easy to dance. The whole floor can dance (dun think you want to dance in toilet tho)
6) Should be bigger than upper club cos minus the tables, just chairs for us to sit like at NTUC's grad party style.

7) Of cos, to be honest, downside is we have to clean up ourselves..But that's for the organisers to schedule.

Hi Salsareans

The lastest information I got was the number have reached 90 in total. This is an event not to be miss. And also due to popular request. We have extended the closing date to 16 Aug. Please response early.

There is also another important decision to be made. One of the from the board of directors of the Salsa.Editboard forum has commented that he is thinking of proposing closing down this forum due to the "inactivitiness" of the forum. He may announce the decision on the party itself.

Therefore, we hope to get ur support. Support the party, support the forum. Cheers to Salsa.

Hello EVERYONE!......YES! I'm bk in action (as in literally only...bkache still in recovery stage)

Anyway, as the unofficial "financial controller" here, I have been assigned again to make the announcements...
After some discussion internally and considering our manpower and costs,

We will be collecting as usual, a token sum from everyone.
Not really to have anything fanciful, but just enough to cover our rental of the room, food and drinks expenses.

Here goes...
Date: Sep 29, 2007 - Our very own Salsa Forum 1 Year Anniversary!!
Time: 4pm onwards till i dunno...midnight? (at least until we drag the drunks ones out the room)
Venue: Windy Heights Condo Function Rm (It's Big, so dun worry abt space), 5 min drive from Kembangan MRT station.
Who's Invited: Anyone, Everyone, All our friends! Even if you dun dance Salsa, you can learn on the spot.

Partying Fees*:
Now all @ $10/pax, our usual amount =)

In Return, Unlimited Food , Drinks while they last...
*But, This time round, We will collect money in advance*

In case you are wondering why the collection in advance.....
The thing here is we need to collect (and thus confirm) at least 80 pax (if really got 90 over pple)
cos we are going to order catering for dinner instead. (If cannot confirm, then we prob would have other meal alternatives instead)
While Organisers can still fork out $ first for room, drinks and stuff, dinner is something we need to confirm so that everyone has a gd meal and energy to dance..

So, for those who are confirmed coming, Pls make payment in advance
(Help our pockets here a bit can? pleading eyes..)
Of course, for those who are still not confirmed or will be coming much later.
it's OOOKKK, you can just make payment on the spot when you join us!! It will be as per timing and Dinner will be served around 5pm to 8pm.

Pls make sure we take down your name on our papers when handing in the money.
I will be taking attendance on that day so that those who have paid will not need to pay again. =)

i may not be able to provide the "service" that joe is offering, *haha* but if you need help with the logistical arrangements on that day, feel free to let me know.
