Salsa meets Shopping @ HK

Dear Salsareans, the event long waiting for is now on.

The Salsa meets Shopping event. This time round the destination is none other than HONG KONG!!!

When: 9 to 12 August 2007

HKD90 entrance fee includes free lesson 8-9pm, one drink.
Dancing 9pm until 12.30am.

2) Joe Banana

Salsa every Sunday.Free Entry.
Dancing lesson 8 - 9pm.
Dancing 9pm until midnight.

3) Dancin' Jupiter Club

Fee: Free Admission + Ladies Night

How to get there:

I am now getting quotes for the Airfare and Lodgings. Once the agency confirm I will send out the details to you. I have tentative book 10 seats such that we can get good pricing.

On a different track I am checking with my friends in HK on other possible lodging like non service apartment that might be cheap and good. Then we just need to concentrate on getting the cheapest Air Ticket.

If anyone have any further suggestions or resources on Air Ticket and Lodging, please do not hesitate to share.

What you need to do now:

1) Book your schedule: Apply leave. Thank god we only need to take one day. But it's hot holiday date, better book early k, in case your colleagues took the date and then u have to stay here and imagine. Ha.
2) Save money: We need enuf gold to enjoy the Shopping too. Ms. Chrissy says there is a Sale gng on there.
3) Stay Healthy: Eat more fruits, do more execise, don't get sick during the period. Suggest you can have more Salsa practices, or join one of the Salsa offsite events like blading, jogging, etc.
4) Practice hard: Don't loose face to the Hong Kongers
5) Confirm your attendance such that the neccessary logistics can be arrange.

Contingency Plan

Should the event be canceled. Maybe due to Typhoon or SARS or Avain Flu or any other funny things. There will be another Salsa event on National Day 9 August 2007. There will be a "Salsa and Fireworks Open House". Details will be reveal at a later date. Meantime, start to prepare for the Salsa Hong Kong Trip. We've been to KL, now to HK, next might be BKK or even L.A.. Let's make it a Singapore Salsarean World Tour!!! Ha Ha Ha.

Next destination, Hong Kong, here we come.

hahahaha yeah loh, imagine what happens when the ladies are tired out from shopping... surely they need someone to help out with their shopping goods right? erm, good ratio should be 2guys to 1 girl... while one carries stuff, the other can escort the girl to washroom etc... wow, royal treatment mmmmmm absolutely cool

Thank u very much for your suggestion huh. I think the guys after reading will hesitate even more to join the HK trip hahaha.

I love shopping too and dont mind joining the Gals for shopping. But the thing is I need to visit my childhood friends. I got to know some of them since the age of 5. Since I am all the way there, really need to pay them a visit. If not they will say I "Bu Guo Peng You". I think the gals will agree that I should spend time with my childhood friends rather than too much time "carrying" stuffs right? :-)

Hmm, maybe I can teach them some Salsa, then we can have Salsa in Disney Land. Hahaha.
