Argentina Tango:Get da heat burnin' HOTTER on da dance floor

yoi fellow salsarians!!! Long time no see wor!!!

me keen to take on argentina tango!!! I know en motion is offering a new course on tango.. but hor, one instructor??? I thought it's supposed to be two? a male & female? any takers or schools for recommendations? i'm still scouting around for schools... heard that jitterbugs is not bad.. but mmm.. dunno why, i dun have rather good vibes about the school lei...maybe it's da name.. hahaha~ crap.

huh? one instructor? hmmm dun think i will take tango lah.... not about the instructor part but MORE so becuz im hardly managing what i have now - salsa and bachata so better focuz abit because Rueda class is starting soon and that like 3 dance classes a week, not forgetting days i head down Union for practice... hahahahahaha end up like dancing everyday

are u sure is 1 instructor? maybe can check out again, scully they forget to put in the name... hehhe...

Hi Hi,

Just to clarify any queries here. Yep, the class will be taken by one instructor for the beginner level stage. As the instructor is proficient in both female and male steps, it is definitely sufficient to have juz one instructor for the Argentine Tango Beginner level one in our course syllabus.

moon also interested, but has too many on the plate currently. starting rueda soon, and still have bachata, salsa and dancer's course.

getting confused and frustrated when cannot do the steps correctly already. hehee.

bel interested too.. but wat moon say very true... not too good to learn so many dances at one time... we may end be the jacks of all trade but master of none..

moreover, does we need to enrol as a couple or with a partner? cos bel's partner going back soon.. we cannot even take bachata3 together...

i'm interested in Argentina tango too, partner is also interested too!! So where can we do that? Gary, u setting up the class??

keke anyway, i have spoken to the Tango Instructor,he will be asking his partner to help up in class in level one too. The class will starts in February, Class details will be out soon =)

As for learning too many dances, it is true that learning too many dances of different genre will cause confusion. Do try taking it slowly. Understand the nature of each dance, whether it complement or confuse each other =) like salsa bachata n merengue are of the same roots, it kinda complement one another.

wahahaha.. “mi huen da fa”.. lolx, imagine an altar set up for tat.. instead of running ard da table with the sword and those tailsman.. he will replace with groovy salsa moves..complete with mirrors (to replace those big big tailsman or posters)...hahaha.. so funny. & yes! chrissy, u never fail to brighten my day with ya endless to-to train of jokes..despite me being so zonk-ed out now..

im not joining anymore class for now. too many le, moon's getting confused with all the steps and combos already. just wanna focus on salsa, and rueda first.

gene gene, the same goes for me.... me focusing on salsa, rueda, and (maybe) bachata first.... these three with the occassion workshops are quite a handful for me already...
