| Yeah... sure, invite... try to get those that can teach us rueda... would be fun if everyone can do it together.
FYI, the cost for everyone on Sunday is $10. This pays for the food, drinks, function room, etc...

| No worries. The function room is much bigger than Union. Can accommodate 40 or more ppl.
You can view our activity on last Sun at "Photographs and Pictures" section.

| Sure JH, you can come around 2.30pm.
For anyone who would like to come early to help out, you are most welcome.
I need help with these areas:
- Drinks (JH + need 1 more) Must ensure that there are enough drinks and cups
- Collection of money (Suzanne + need 1 more) Collect $10 from everyone, must take down details
- Ahmad ferry service (Dennis & Henry)
- Food (Henry + need 1 more) Order & distribute the food… ensure enough for everyone
- Cleaners (need 2) Special task force to clean any mess… must have floor towels on standby
- Bouncers (need 2) Must know how to break up fights and keep our salseras / salsaros safe.
- Salsa DJ (JH + need 1 more) Must keep the music happening & flowing non-stop

| Hey guys, thanks for organsing such a fab dancing event. Kudos to the organisers who did a great job in organising it, especially nick for the place and weeliano for being the parparazzi. From the music down to the food and drinks, everything worked like clock work. Can see you guys having the passion and enthusiasm for salsa. To summarize, you guys rock. ^5 Enjoyed myself at the event although my legs are giving way now. heh. Anyway, keep the passion alive ppl. And gald to know you all and to all the ladies willing to dance with a beginner like me. Cheers, Dino

| Dino beginner?! Nah, you dance way much better than you think! Thanks for turning up guys! Glad that you guys enjoyed yourselves!
I see lots of new faces. I'm processing the photos now, weeding out the not so nice shots; they should be up in an hour's time from the time this post posted. Check the Pictures section for updates.

| Same from me too..So glad i turned up despite being sick. It was really fun and the room is humongous! Lots of space for dancing..and munching titbits. Must specially thank Belinda, Amy and Cilia for cutting up so much watermelon for the group, esp since i requested for it..SMuaK!! Smuak! Smuak!! And Salutes to our org- Nic, Ahmad Ferry Service- Jinghui, Henry & Nic (even for the thrill ride frm your lift to the function room ) Bartenders and DJs and Camero Man and not forgetting the two ah Sams who was cleaning up the floor when i left! Hee! Arigato Gozaimasu! P.S. Paiseh to those wonderful leads whom i danced halfway and had to go register people or answer phone calls...Sorry Sorry. So rude of me... | |

| Thank you guys and gals so much for make the event a success. (This is like an Oscar thank you speech…) Especially like to thank these people:
o Henry & Dennis for driving up and down to fetch the people from the MRT. o Suzanne & Danielle for being our front desk “Ah Long”… great job. o Wee Lian for being the cameraman, cleaning uncle & DJ. And yes, I too agree I never get the chance to see you dance… you better shake your bon-bon the next time we party. And Thank you for the video clip of me dancing... my first time seeing myself. o Belinda, Cilia, Hu Hu for being advance party o JH for your drinks. BTW, what is that orange stuff you made?? o And for all the 46 people that turn up.
So here is the money we made for last night.
less Pizza -$130 less Drinks & miscellaneous -$60 less Function room -$50
After minus the cost of the party… we made… drum roll… $125.
Since we now have money in our class fund. I would like to suggest these points:
o Purchase 100 blank CDs for the class (about $40 I think), ---------Pass Wee Lian 50 blank disks for helping us make duplicates of the lessons ---------Pass Collin & myself 10 disks for being the DJ and burning the songs ---------Pass JH 30 disks for burning the music for the class & DJ too
o Petrol money to Ahmads $10 x 3 (Dennis, Henry & Nic)
Leaving us about $55 for class fund. I will keep the money and use it for our next class event. If I miss out anything, please message me and I'll add it in.
