I guess you should also start collecting money before you book. Then to be fair, those who last min cannot make it would have to find their own substitutes. Instead of just putting a name now then last min say got something on, having the team to bear the extra cost. Now its the time to filter any "tentative" booking and book only the "confirm" ones.

Dear all, Booking for Chalet in Forum closed. (Sorry, but chalet rooms are limited and we hope to book asap to get everyone close in a block)

We have booked (note the past tense) 7 Chalet Rooms in Total.
We may be squeezing 5 ppl to a room (cos there's 30 ppl) and some of us may have special room mate requests (e.g. the couples).
BUT, we will refund some of the rm money to you (cos divided by 5)
For now, it's $230 divided by 4 = $57.50 each upfront

Pls note List of ppl below:
Those in Italics, pls transfer payment ($57.50) to Jinghui
or Me (Savings 038-48317-0) and give us an sms when you are done.
Those in Strikeout, understand yesterday you pull out first/found alt accomodation. See you at SISF!!
Those in Normal font, Yes, Once you have thrown in the loot, Sorry, No pulling out unless you found a replacement. We have already given your money to Downtown East, so organisers no money to refund you le.

Additional Note for those who still have not gotten tickets:
The original list of ppl (Not counting the newly added yet - hope you got tics already) still stand for our first reservation of the tics from Nic. But, pls get your tics fast from him because he can't be helping you guys hold the tics forever. There's quite a lot of young ntuc members/helpers around, you know...

For those who aren't Young ntuc members/helpers,
You can still get tics from the various Dance Studios. Some of them have further promos other than the $290 early bird pricing, so pls go C C

Altho i am not going to specially allocate rooms,
There will be two rooms with 5 guys, and two rooms with 4 guys.
Some of you have highlighted the pref for room with 4 guys for more comfortable sleepin...

Can i just have an indication of anyone else wih special preference for 4 in a room or you dun mind squeezing..
If you have special room kakis, pls also do inform..

I am posting my final list here.

I will tell you your sleeping arrangement on that day, with ref to whatever requests made. This is because we have ppl pulling out at last min.

Those who cannot stay over, your names are still in the list so we know you paid. I am sorry to say this but we must be firm on this to be fair to everyone else. The Rule still stands - No cfm refund until after the event.
If you found someone to take over your chalet place, do tell me so i can update the list. Else, pls wait till after the fest.
(Luckily we actually planned squeezing 5 to a rm, so there are excess head counts taken in. If each of the rooms have enuff ppl of min 4 - then we can consider your refunds - may not be full balance if not enuff).

Ok, not to dampen moods leh..it's this WEEKEND!!! Hee hee! So exciting..
Rooms are quite spacious with bathroom (no bathtubs) so actually dun have to worry abt squeezing..Dun think got x box tho...
