A Special September!
As it is drawing near to our birthday on 1st October, En Motion has prepared a series of exciting activities for you in September! Here’s a sneek peek:
SOL IN SINGAPORE
Sol, who is known as the one of the best salsa dancers in Korea, started salsa 2000 in Busan with his amazing talents and background in dance.
An extremely competent ballet dancer, he performed with Busan Contemporary Ballet company for 2 years. In his pursuit to ever improve himself, his love for dance brought him to study Afro Dance, Samba and Capoeira in “Danca Do Bahia”, Brazil and Tango in the national tango school in Buenos Aires. These experiences have added to his strong background in dance which has translated to him being a captivating dancer, teacher and performer, be it on the dance floor or on stage.
The winner of the Korea National salsa competition in Taupo Latin Festival, he was also the choreographer for salsa dance group “Dancing Island” as well as the leading dancer and choreographer for Latin Orquestra Cobana. He has performed for major events including been invited to perform for 2002 World Cup in Korea, and also many major congresses in Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. Well-respected for his achievements and warm personality, he has taught in Korea, Tokyo and Auckland. He is currently base in Taiwan and is the founder of Sol y Amigos dance troupe.
By infusing elements from various forms of dance into his salsa, he never fails to innovate and surprise while remaining true to the Afro spirit in Salsa. He is a dancer and teacher not to be missed!
He will be here in September to share a dose of Solful Salsa so do keep a lookout!
Singapore Salsa Festival 2007 tickets now available!
Featuring some of the biggest names in Salsa such as Albert Torres, Hacha Y Machete, Junior & Emily, Susana Montero, Super Mario and so on, this event happening in October is not to be missed! Dance to live music performed by the wondrous Spanish Harlem Orchestra and be dazzled by the competition in the Asian leg of Qualifying Rounds for the World Salsa Championships!

Trial Salsa Beginner Class on 12th August, Sunday
We will be conducting a one hour beginner trial class on Sunday 12th August 2007 between 4.30 – 5.30pm for anyone who might be interested in Salsa but has not had the opportunity to try yet. Please share this news with anyone you know who might be keen in trying it out. We look forward to seeing you!

Our popular Bachata Night will be held on the first Friday of the month every month. Join in the fun of bachata this month on 3th August!
