Hiking From MacRitchie to Bukit Timah - 6 Jan 07 (Sat 230pm)

It is Christmas and you have a turkey too much. It is New Year and you have a cup too many. You look down and your feet are no longer visible due to an added obstacle. You look into the mirror and you are not impressed.

Fear not! This 14km route(burns abt 1500 Calories) is designed to help you squeeze into your fav salsa clothes.

The route:
We start at Reservoir Park Carpark and move towards Upper Thomson.
Then we go north until the Ranger station and take a short break.
Go HSBC tree top walk for some photo taking.
Down and walk by Rifle Range and cut through BKE.
Go through the Bukit Timah Reserve and out through the private estate.
Scale Bukit Timah and take photo at Singapore's highest peak.
Go down and we have makan session after a tiring day.

Estimated time to complete(4.5hr). Note that this is a leisure walk and we are not trying to set a record. Anyone game? Don't worry, Moon and I had been through this route a number of times...(Moon can walk, so can you!)

I have also been through this route quite a few times. Love it...
but i prefer to take the reverse direction though, then can go Toa payoh HDB hub munch bk my calories...Wahaha

We have changed to 2:30 to accomodate our pretty princess Joanne.

Hi, I've got 2 friends joining us for the hiking. They are Hamilyn and Matthew from JJSalsa too.3 of us will be hiking till tree top walk as we have another appointment in the evening.

not really a hiking person.. but I have like 3000 calories to burn after my last trip.. ate sooo much cheese, potato and meat.. yikes!

Think you have to weight 180kg to burn 3000 Cal for this trip. Of cos you could burn more by volunteering to carry water bottles for the group. Smile

But can burn 1000+ (think 100+ grams of fats loss)
