Hello EVERYONE!......YES! I'm bk in action (as in literally only...bkache still in recovery stage)

Anyway, as the unofficial "financial controller" here, I have been assigned again to make the announcements...
After some discussion internally and considering our manpower and costs,

We will be collecting as usual, a token sum from everyone.
Not really to have anything fanciful, but just enough to cover our rental of the room, food and drinks expenses.

Here goes...
Date: Sep 29, 2007 - Our very own Salsa Forum 1 Year Anniversary!!
Time: 4pm onwards till i dunno...midnight? (at least until we drag the drunks ones out the room)
Venue: Windy Heights Condo Function Rm (It's Big, so dun worry abt space), 5 min drive from Kembangan MRT station.
Who's Invited: Anyone, Everyone, All our friends! Even if you dun dance Salsa, you can learn on the spot.

Most impt announcement of all (sheepish grin),
Partying Fees*:
Now all @ $10/pax, our usual amount =)

In Return, Unlimited Food , Drinks while they last...
*But, This time round, We will collect money in advance*

In case you are wondering why the collection in advance.....
The thing here is we need to collect (and thus confirm) at least 80 pax (if really got 90 over pple)
cos we are going to order catering for dinner instead. (If cannot confirm, then we prob would have other meal alternatives instead)
While Organisers can still fork out $ first for room, drinks and stuff, dinner is something we need to confirm so that everyone has a gd meal and energy to dance..

So, for those who are confirmed coming, Pls make payment in advance
(Help our pockets here a bit can? pleading eyes..)
Of course, for those who are still not confirmed or will be coming much later.
it's OOOKKK, you can just make payment on the spot when you join us!! It will be as per timing and Dinner will be served around 5pm to 8pm.

Ok. Payment can be made to JingHui or Me, Danielle (if you see me around).
Pls make sure we take down your name on our papers when handing in the money.
I will be taking attendance on that day so that those who have paid will not need to pay again. =)

i may not be able to provide the "service" that joe is offering, *haha* but if you need help with the logistical arrangements on that day, feel free to let me know.

We definitely need help that day (maybe advance prepartion or shift work?) but not alot lah cos we want everyone to enjoy themselves.
Now most imptly, we need the payment confirmation to decide whether to cater food or not.
If any of you all confirmed will be going down early (and thus having dinner), can make payment in advance to Jinghui?
(He will update his post on Page 1 who have paid as confirmation)

I need the number confirmed by this Friday to decide how much catering to order.
Last time round, we were scrambling around for last min food so this time, we really want to make sure we are prepared in adv.

Posting reply here because the heading says SALSA FORUM ..CELEBRATION..( I gave up trying to read the first 19 pages)..

Anyway, just to announce..

I BOOKed the catering le!! No snucking out now.... It's halah so everyone can eat. There's rice, Mee, Vege, Chicken, Prawns, Finger Food and drinks. So, Pls PLs Pls do not have your dinner in advance. Must help us finish the food! Food & Drinks is freeflow as long as they are still available and you have paid at the entrance.

JingHui, Kenneth, will PM you two on the costs incurred so far.
May have exceeded our collection money a bit but we can probably collect it bk when the rest who haven paid turns up. *Frantic Praying*

Thanks for organizing this event...i been wondering if the organizing committee will suffer a loss..since it bao food, free flow drinks..
i will be bringing a bottle of red wine on that day..

Party - Goer Reminder Kit

Just a reminder after 5 pages of comments -
1) Our party is tomorrow! See you Rain or Shine. Jinghui provided a map on first page. It is within walking dist (according to the owner's gf first hand experience) If you are still hopelessly lost, just call me or Jinghui. I will be manning the recep and direction "helpline" =)
Those who cannot confirm, do try to join us later. I am sure there's alot of food and partying till late.

2) Don't eat dinner. We ordered catering...Where got party just pay $10 and have unltd drinks and food one..Dun Lugi! Must come and eat!
No high class food but there's quality class company!

3) Bring your own cameras...Sorry, we want organisers to have fun too..so free lance ok? Then we have mass upload and sharing...

4) I heard from JH we have kind sponserships for drinks.

5) Party starts at 4pm but food/drinks will arrive around 5.30pm onwards in case you want to know. We will have some light snacks and drinks from 4pm till 5.30pm. So pls patiently wait till 5.30pm....

6) Bring frens! (Ok..i know we charge entrance fees but the more the merrier right?) All are welcome..

7) Personal Puke Bags (For over consumption of alcohols) & First Aid is unavailable. Dance safely! I have got a personal stash of handiplast tho if any lady needs it. (Find me at Recep)
Eh, No bouncers too. Rowdy Intruders will be horded out by the general mass of fine gentlemen (i presume)

And a whole lot of pple who helped with clearing up. And of cos, how could you forget to thank yourself, JINGHUI (for your idea of org a one year anniversary party!)

Anyway, I need all your help again. For our free lance photographers who brought cameras that night, could you kindly share with us your photos for the night (be it funny faces, poses or just of yourself dancing) If it's too many, i will pass you a cd help me burn instead can? Thanks. (Just PM me)
I spend so much time over the prawns i didn't see the hot dancing during the night! i didn't even realize there are 120 pple until we counted the attendance list.
